Three indigenous members of the Higaonon ethnic group have been brutally killed by cattle rancher guards. The indigenous people set up their tents in the land that the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples recognized as ancestral land. The cattle ranching company Ramcar Inc., that had occupied this and, sent te private security. Although the indigenous activists surrounded, the guards killed three of them, and wounded there more, including a 15 years old child.
