Thousands of acres of forest have been destroyed in forest fire in Trashigang and Trashiyangtse, eastern Bhutan. It took three days for the authority to let the fire die out. The cause of fire is yet to be determined. The forest fires in Trashigang and Trashiyangtse that have been burning for three days and destroyed thousands of acres of forests  before they were brought under control, by a rainfall winch aided in the efforts to contain the fire.
