A fire called the Bear Fire started today in the Blue Primitive Area on the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests (ASNFs). The fire is currently at the bottom of Bear Mountain and is approximately 30-35 acres in size.
Resources on scence are the Black Mesa Hot Shots. The fire is under investigation and is believed to be human-caused. There are no fire restrictions currently, but check prior to heading out to camp to check if there are any restrictions in place or Red Flag Warnings.
